Introducing CTRI
The Collaborative Tutorial Resources Initiative (CTRI) is an educational initiative focused on developing clear, self-study-friendly textbooks for SSCE students.
CTRI is an initiative of Care For Knowledge, a Nigeria-based non-profit organisation focused on improving access to quality educational resources.
Our Mission
We are building structured, easy-to-understand textbooks that help students learn independently without depending solely on classroom instruction.
Our Goal
We aim to develop 10 high-quality SSCE textbooks by 2030, starting with:
- Mathematics
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Biology
- Agricultural Science
More subjects will be added as the initiative grows.
Why CTRI Exists
Many students struggle with textbooks that are either too complex, too theoretical, or not structured for self-learning.
CTRI is designed to solve this by focusing on:
- Clear explanations
- Step-by-step learning
- Structured progression
- Student-friendly language
